Itinerary
  • Day 1

    LISBON | ÓBIDOS | ALCOBAÇA | NAZARÉ | BATALHA | FÁTIMA

    The day begins with a trip to Óbidos. In this town surrounded by medieval walls, we'll walk through its streets and see its white, rustic houses. We suggest you try the traditional "Ginjinha", a cherry liqueur. The journey then continues to Alcobaça, with its imposing Gothic-style church and the tombs of Pedro and Inês de Castro, known for their intense love story.

    Next, we'll head to Nazaré, a fishing town, where you can admire the beautiful hilltop view and the giant waves that turn this place into a surfing paradise. Batalha will be our next stop, where we will visit the Batalha Monastery Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After we arrive in Fátima, the famous Marian Shrine, there is the opportunity to attend the candle-lit procession.

  • Day 2

    FÁTIMA | COIMBRA | AVEIRO | PORTO

    Breakfast at the hotel. We leave for Coimbra, a city with one of the oldest universities in the world. Visit to the baroque library and musical and university traditions. Still in Coimbra, we'll visit the Church of Santa Clara. As you stroll through the city centre, you can admire Coimbra's ceramics.

    In the afternoon, we'll head to Aveiro, a city surrounded by canals and known as the "Venice of Portugal". You'll have free time to explore the city and try the "Ovos Moles", a typical sweet.

    Finally, we will return to Porto, where we will spend the night.

  • Day 3

    PORTO | GUIMARÃES | BRAGA | PORTO

    We continue on to Fatima, the world shrine of Marian worship and altar of the world. Here you will have the opportunity to watch the candlelight procession. We'll also cross the D. Luís I Bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia. There, we'll visit one of the most famous cellars, where you can learn more about the production of Port Wine (with a wine tasting included).

    Next, we'll be travelling towards Minho to visit Guimarães and Braga. In Guimarães, we will visit the Paço dos Duques de Bragança and the Royal Castle. In the city of Braga, you can admire the oldest cathedral in the country and the famous Bom Jesus Sanctuary.

    At the end of the day, we return to Porto.

  • Day 4

    PORTO

    Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for leisure.

  • Day 5

    PORTO | AMARANTE | VILA REAL | DOURO | LAMEGO | URGEIRIÇA

    Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Amarante, located on the banks of the River Tâmega, where we will visit the convent of São Gonçalo.

    Next, we will pass through the Serra do Marão towards Vila Real, to visit the gardens of Mateus Palace before continuing our journey to the Douro Demarcated Region, where Port Wine is produced.

    The journey through the Douro Valley will begin in Lamego, with a visit to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios and the opportunity to try the traditional Bola de Lamego. Then we will pass through Viseu and its Cathedral.

    The last stop will be in Urgeiriça, where we will spend the night.

  • Day 6

    URGEIRIÇA | BUSSACO | TOMAR | LISBON

    Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Bussaco, where the romantic Bussaco Palace Hotel (a former royal hunting palace) is located.

    On the way to Lisbon, the next stop will be Tomar, where we'll visit the Convento de Cristo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983.

    Arrival in Lisbon and hotel accommodation.

  • Day 7

    LISBON | SINTRA | CABO DA ROCA | CASCAIS | ESTORIL | LISBON

    Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Sintra to visit the Pena Palace, one of the "Seven Wonders of Portugal". Then, you will have free time to enjoy the town, have lunch and try the traditional sweets "travesseiros" and "queijadas".

    In the early afternoon, we will head to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. The journey is along the Atlantic coast, so you can have an incredible panoramic view, with an optional stop at the impressive Boca do Inferno. Our next destination will be the bay of Cascais, famous for its beaches and busy nightlife. Our last stop will be Estoril, home to the largest casino in Europe!

    Return to Lisbon. Accommodation.

  • Day 8

    LISBON | ÉVORA

    Breakfast at the hotel. We set off from Lisbon, crossing the bridge over the Tagus River. It will be a day spent discovering the city of Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, mosaic of culture, history and traditions. We'll walk through the narrow streets of this city, visiting some of the main monuments: the Roman temple of Évora, the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral, the Church of São Francisco with the Chapel of Bones and the University. Time for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll have time to explore the city. We suggest a gourmet wine, olive oil, and cheese tasting. Accommodation in Évora.

  • Day 9

    ÉVORA | BEJA | SILVES | LAGOS

    Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in the morning and then we set off to Beja, where the most imposing medieval castle tower in Portugal dominates the city and the region. We will then reach Algarve and we will arrive in Silves, among fields of orange trees. Silves is known for its Moorish Castle on the top of the hill and the old cork industry. Then, past Praia da Rocha, we arrive in Lagos where we can see the sea. Accommodation in Lagos.

  • Day 10

    LAGOS | PONTA DA PIEDADE | SAGRES | CABO DE SÃO VICENTE

    Breakfast at the hotel. We stop at Ponta da Piedade to admire the fantastic rock formations created by the erosion of the sea and time. Afterwards, we will head towards Sagres, the place of the mythical nautical school of Prince Henry the Navigator, who opened the "worlds to the world". At Cape St Vincent, the south-western tip of Europe, you will be dazzled by the imposing cliffs. Arrival in Lagos, a cosmopolitan Algarve city with a marina and fishing harbour, and a privileged place to savour a delicious gastronomy rich in fish, seafood and almond sweets. Rest of the afternoon free. Accommodation in Lagos.

  • Day 11

    LAGOS | SETÚBAL | SERRA DE ARRÁBIDA | LISBON

    Breakfast at the hotel. Return to Lisbon, stopping in the city of Setúbal. Then we'll cross the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park, with its rare vegetation and unique panoramas.

    Crossing one of the bridges over the Tagus River, we return to Lisbon. End of our services.
