Fatima is considered the center of the Catholic faith and one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Europe, being annually visited by millions of people. However, this year, this holy land is particularly important: it’s the 100th anniversary of the Apparitions of the Virgin Mary to the three little shepherds and the Pope Francis is the special guest of the celebrations.
As you can’t miss the opportunity to be part of these incredible festivities, we created a special Tour to reach Fatima, one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Europe. We will pick you up at 07:15 (Lisbon). From the Marques Square, we will leave towards Fatima. During the route Lisbon-Fatima, we will be escorted by our Tour Assistant.
Arriving in Fatima, you can visit the Basilica where the tombs of Lúcia, Jacinta and Francisco rest, as well as the Chapel of the Apparitions. We will also have time to attend the official Celebrations and the famous Candlelight Procession, which will be broadcasting worldwide (scheduled to start at 10:15 p.m.). After this Procession, we will return to Lisbon. End of our services.
