Departure: 09h00 a.m. Our wonderful tour will begin with a Lisbon City Tour. Lisbon is the vibrant and historic capital city, also called the “city of the seven hills”. Belém will be our first stop and it has the biggest cultural heritage and the largest concentration of monuments, like the Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. We will also visit the church of Jeronimos Monastery – listed World Heritage by UNESCO – a masterpiece of the “Manueline” style, and the National Coach Museum, with one of the most important collection of old carriages in the world (on Mondays both visits will be replaced by Ajuda National Palace).

We will continue to Alfama, an old and traditional district, where we will have the opportunity to walk through its narrow streets. Then we will pass by the downtown to admire the most important squares of Lisbon and will finish this visit at Marquês de Pombal Square.

In the afternoon, we will proceed to Sintra, a fairly-tale place known for its many Romantic architectural monuments. We will stroll through its medieval streets and will visit the National Sintra Palace, an icon located in the heart of this village.  Then we will head onto Roca Cape (the most westerly point of Europe), to appreciate the incredible view over the Atlantic Ocean. And after our return along the coast, we will travel to Cascais, one of the country's leading resorts destinations with sun, sea, sightseeing and sophistication. On our way back to Lisbon, we will pass by Estoril, home of the famous Casino and its lovely gardens. Accommodation in Lisbon.

    Braga / Guimarães

Today, our trip will explore the Minho Region, considered the greenest region of Portugal. With impressive natural landscapes, this region is also known for its traditions, customs and History. Our tour will take us to Braga and Guimarães. Braga, Portugal’s third-largest city, is an elegant town laced with ancient narrow lanes closed to vehicles, strewn with plazas and a splendid array of baroque churches. Here we will discover the magnificence of its Cathedral and the famous Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, with its impressive stairway.

Then we will travel to Guimarães, also known as the "Cradle City". A visit to this historic city is worthwhile due to its historic center, the rickety houses and medieval buildings, classified in 2001 as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Here, we will visit its imposing castle, the birthplace of D. Afonso Henriques, first king of Portugal, and we will stroll through its charming streets. Accommodation in Porto.

Our tour will continue to the Douro Wine Region, famous for its beautiful vineyards, its crystal Douro River and the delicious Douro and Port Wines. We will stop at Peso da Régua, a small city in the heart of the Douro Valley. Here we will visit one of the most famous wineries of this Region, where we can taste the velvety Port Wine. We will continue to Coimbra, the home of one of the oldest universities in Europe and now a thriving modern city. The university has an imposing baroque library and a unique atmosphere characterized by ancient traditions and customs. And its city hall and streets breath History and Culture. We will pick you up at your Hotel and will travel to Obidos, with its medieval walls, rustic white houses and the rich and varied local traditions. We will stroll through its gorgeous streets and admire the beautiful handicraft. Then we will reach the picturesque and colorful fishing town of Nazare. The waves of this charming town attract hundreds of surfers each here, but Nazare is much more than that. Nazare is the live Tradition and an ode to the hard work of the Portuguese people in the sea. We walk through its narrow streets, admire its furious waves and explore the famed Sítio, where we can find picture-postcard coastal views from the cliffs.

After this visit, we will proceed to Batalha, and visit its Monastery, a masterpiece of late Gothic architecture, listed as UNESCO site. And in the end of our amazing day, we will visit Fátima, considered one of the biggest Catholic shrines in the world since 1917, when it is believed the Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children as they were tending their family's sheep. We will have free time to attend mass and to discover the precious treasures of this magic place.
